Job Purpose

Supervise production associates on daily basis

Job Duties and Responsibilities – Essential Function of the Job

· Monitor associates.

· Initial point person for associate’s questions and concerns

· Assist in monitoring attendance and payroll adjustments

· Working knowledge of all processes within production/ cover positions as warranted

· Training new hires / cross training

· Assure all associates are working in a safe work environment and following safety procedures

· Carries out directives from production manager as to work flow between and within departments;

· Ability to work with different groups in the facility. Consults with the manager on procedures and methods and follows up on the effectiveness of those procedures.

· Look for ways to improves efficiencies

· Responsible for making daily loads and work closely with Production Manager reporting on short falls/ exceptions in the day’s activities

· Monitor inventories in production.

· Monitor the quality of the product

· Attend all monthly Safety Council meetings

· Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

· Two to five years of supervisory experience

· Ability to work with people of all educational backgrounds

· Proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel

Preferred Qualifications

· College degree, preferred
