We are seeking an experienced Production Control Manager to support and oversee production flow within our facility. Working closely with the Production Control Assistant, this role ensures that all parts, processes, and documentation move efficiently throughout the manufacturing cycle. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to driving continuous improvement across operations.
Key Responsibilities
Production Flow & Daily Operations
- Maintain smooth product flow through all manufacturing stages.
- Move completed parts to the next operation with proper paperwork.
- Verify part counts and maintain accurate production records.
- Utilize Global Shop Solutions (ERP) for production transactions and reporting.
- Dispose of scrap parts according to company procedures.
- Prioritize and schedule jobs in partnership with section leads and supervisors.
- Prepare for and conduct scheduled production meetings.
- Communicate with customers regarding order status and delivery updates.
- Coordinate with suppliers on subcontracted processes.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- 2 years of aerospace manufacturing experience preferred.
- Proficiency with ERP systems; experience with Global Shop Solutions is a plus.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field preferred
