Planner / Scheduler – Precision Machining
TekPro is representing one of our core clients, a high-growth precision machining company supporting the defense, aerospace and medical technology industries.
The company has grown to 130 employees and recently moved into a new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility.
The Planner / Scheduler will help manage production flow, machine capacity and customer delivery requirements across a fast-paced, high-mix machining environment.
Responsibilities:
• Build and maintain production schedules
• Review capacity, materials and customer demand
• Release and prioritize work orders
• Track jobs throughout the manufacturing process
• Coordinate with machining, purchasing, quality and customer service
• Identify bottlenecks and adjust schedules as priorities change
• Maintain accurate ERP data and delivery dates
Ideal Background:
• Planning or scheduling experience within precision machining
• Strong understanding of routings, work centers and machine capacity
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Aerospace, defense or medical manufacturing experience preferred
• Strong communication, organization and follow-through
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or Business field heavily preferred.
