We are seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join our clients team in a first-shift, salaried role. This position is primarily focused on programming CNC lathes, with some milling responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate has strong CAM programming experience and is comfortable supporting production in a precision machining environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and optimize CNC programs primarily for lathe operations (2-axis and/or multi-axis)Support milling operations as neededCreate programs using CAM software and ensure accurate post-processingInterpret blueprints and CAD models, applying GD&T principlesSelect tooling, determine speeds/feeds, and establish efficient machining strategiesTroubleshoot and improve existing programs for cycle time reduction and quality improvementCollaborate with setup personnel and machinists during prove-outsMaintain organized program documentation and revision controlQualifications3 years of CNC programming experience in a machining environmentStrong experience programming CNC lathes (turning environment required)CAM programming proficiency (Mastercam, GibbsCAM, Fusion, or similar)Ability to read and interpret blueprints and GD&TSolid understanding of tooling, workholding, and machining fundamentalsExperience optimizing programs for efficiency and qualityID:qnkTyx
