About the OpportunityTekPro is a direct-hire recruiting firm partnered with leading manufacturing companies. We’re hiring a 2nd Shift Operations Supervisor for a high-mix aerospace machine shop supporting complex CNC milling, turning, and secondary operations. This is a hands-on leadership role focused on production, quality, and driving shop floor performance.
What You’ll Do- Lead machinists, operators, and secondary personnel on 2nd shift
- Drive production flow, throughput, and schedule performance
- Support CNC milling, turning, deburr, assembly, and inspection operations
- Troubleshoot production and quality issues on the shop floor
- Ensure compliance with AS9100, safety, and customer requirements
- Drive accountability, training, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Coordinate shift handoff with engineering, quality, and leadership teams
- 5 years of CNC machining leadership or supervisory experience
- Strong knowledge of milling, turning, and aerospace machining
- Ability to read blueprints and understand GD&T
- Experience in AS9100 or high-mix manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong floor leadership and communication skills
- Leadership role with direct impact on operations
