Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Psych RN/LPN to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized care for patients with mental health disorders in the assisted living setting.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' mental health conditions
- Develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer psychiatric medications and monitor their effects
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care
- Educate patients and families on mental health conditions and treatment options
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
- Participate in nursing administration tasks as needed
-Oversee nursing staff, compliance, standard of care and help elevate team. Providing instruction and disciplinary action as appropriate
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Nursing
- Valid RN/LPN license in the state of practice
- Previous experience in psychiatric nursing or related field preferred
- Knowledge of psychiatric medications and treatment modalities is a plus
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems is a plus
Pay: $43.00 - $53.00 per hour
