Title: Should Costing Engineer – Automotive Components

Location: San Jose, CA (Onsite)

Type: Full-Time


Key Requirements:

• 7–10 years of experience as a Should Costing Engineer in automotive, heavy equipment, tractor, or manufacturing industries.

• Strong experience in cost modeling, target costing, supplier quote analysis, and cost negotiations for engineering components and assemblies.

• Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing processes (sheet metal, plastics, machining, rubber, assemblies) including machine selection, cycle time calculation, and cost drivers (MHR, overheads, profit).

• Proficiency in GD&T, drawing interpretation, SAP/ERP systems, and should costing tools like aPriori, Costimator, or TcPCM.

Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
