Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Manufacturing Assembler to work on-site with our client, a Fortune 500 consumer packaged goods company. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Manufactures pilot-scale batches according to batch instructions and operating procedures (SOPs)
- Maintains detailed documentation for each batch produced.
- Weighing ingredients accurately for Pilot Plant sample.
- Assist in setting up, change over, and test run equipment for various-sized vials and packages as required
- Works all areas of production operation: weighing, blending, filling, packaging, cleaning*
- Accurately weighs product*
- Blends product according to batch record and SOP*
- Cleans equipment and rooms to specifications
- Working in lab to assist or self-work on lab equipment.
Qualifications:
- Prior manufacturing and/or batch production experience
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office products
- Adapts quickly to changes in work priorities
- Good communications skills (verbal and written)
- Must be well organized and detail oriented with strong desire to explore innovation, expand knowledge base
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to work across functions
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Comply with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE's) requirements
- Constant walking and standing on hard concrete service
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, pushing and lifting
