Job Description
We are seeking a Coos Robotic Engineer to support robotic welding automation and manufacturing processes in a live production environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with COOS robotic systems, robot programming, welding automation, integration, and troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities
- Program, integrate, troubleshoot, and support COOS robotic welding equipment.
- Develop and optimize robotic welding processes, parameters, and procedures.
- Support automation equipment validation and new product development activities.
- Troubleshoot robotic equipment and implement corrective actions to reduce defects and downtime.
- Develop technical documentation, work instructions, drawings, training materials, and troubleshooting guides.
- Support preventive maintenance activities for robotic welding equipment and tooling.
- Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to improve cycle time, equipment efficiency, and process quality.
- Support CAPA initiatives and drive permanent corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain automation equipment documentation.
- Support controls and automation solutions for complex manufacturing applications.
- Ensure welding processes align with applicable AWS welding standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Robotics, Automation, or a related technical discipline.
- Hands-on COOS robot programming/integration experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with robotic welding processes and procedures.
- Strong robot troubleshooting and automation skills.
- Knowledge of AWS Welding Standards.
- Experience working with automated manufacturing equipment and robotic welding cells.
- Strong communication, documentation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Microsoft Office applications.
