CONTRACT TO HIRE
We’re looking for a Data Architect to lead enterprise data design and governance, driving how data flows from SAP (ECC/S/4HANA) into a modern Databricks Lakehouse. You’ll build scalable, secure data models that power analytics, reporting, and AI/ML across finance, supply chain, and operations.
What you’ll do:
- Own end-to-end data architecture (modeling, integration, governance)
- Design Bronze/Silver/Gold data layers in Databricks (Delta Lake, Unity Catalog)
- Lead SAP data modeling across key domains (finance, logistics, materials)
- Partner with engineering on batch/streaming pipelines
- Establish semantic layers for BI & self-service analytics
- Drive data quality, lineage, and security standards
What you bring:
- 7 years in Data Architecture / Data Engineering
- Strong Databricks Lakehouse experience
- Deep SAP data knowledge (ECC or S/4HANA)
- Expertise in dimensional modeling (star/snowflake)
- SQL Python proficiency
- Cloud experience (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
Nice to have:
Informatica, BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/Looker), SAP BW/CDS views, data mesh exposure
