- Full-Time Salary: $145,000 – $150,000
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Architect to lead enterprise data architecture, design, and governance initiatives. In this role, you will define how critical enterprise data flows from SAP (ECC / S/4HANA) into a modern Databricks Lakehouse platform, enabling scalable analytics, reporting, and advanced AI/ML capabilities across Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations domains.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end enterprise data architecture, including data modeling, integration, governance, and lifecycle management
- Design and implement Medallion Architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers) within Databricks using Delta Lake and Unity Catalog
- Architect and govern SAP data models across core business domains such as Finance, Logistics, and Materials Management
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and optimize batch and streaming data pipelines
- Define and implement semantic data layers to enable BI reporting and self-service analytics
- Establish and enforce data quality, data lineage, security, and governance standards across the ecosystem
Required Qualifications
- 7 years of experience in Data Architecture, Data Engineering, or related roles
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks and Lakehouse architecture
- Deep understanding of SAP data structures (ECC or S/4HANA)
- Expertise in dimensional data modeling (star and snowflake schemas)
- Proficiency in SQL and Python
- Experience working with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Informatica or similar ETL/ELT tools
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker
- Exposure to SAP BW, CDS Views, or data virtualization concepts
- Understanding of Data Mesh or modern distributed data architecture patterns
