We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a Behavioral Health / Psychiatric unit. This is a great opportunity for an RN who enjoys working with adult and geriatric patients in a structured, supportive environment.
Unit Details
12-bed Behavioral Health unit
Patient population: Adult & Geriatric Psych
Current ages: 18 (goal 55 )
Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:6
Support staff: 2 PCTs (based on census)
What You’ll Be Doing
Perform patient assessments and ongoing monitoring
Administer and manage medications
Support patient safety and behavioral stabilization
Assist with group therapy sessions as needed
Provide patient and family education
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support care plans
✅ Requirements
Active RN license (AZ or Compact)
BLS certification required
1 year of RN experience
Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Ability to work in a behavioral health setting
