Primary Skills & Experience
- 7 years of postcollegiate software development experience with java as the primary technology.
- Strong hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, production-grade Ruby on Rails applications.
- Solid understanding of Rails conventions, MVC architecture, Active Record, background jobs, and performance optimization.
Secondary / Supporting Skills
- Experience with other mainstream programming languages such as Java, C#, C , C, or similar is a plus.
- Knowledge of microservices architecture and building/consuming web services (REST, SOAP, APIs).
- Experience with B2B integrations; familiarity with middleware platforms such as web Methods is a bonus.
- Exposure to large-scale ERP systems is highly desirable.
- Prior experience architecting and integrating business solutions using middleware platforms, relational databases (RDBMS), and scripting languages.
