Job Summary
- Developing and implementing Service Dept. protocols and practices to include:
- Regular business development activities
- Jobsite reporting standards
- New Service Dept. employee onboarding processes
- Project delivery from lead through closeout
- Identify business development opportunities with the goal of expanding Department revenue and client base
- Develop and monitor project schedules and budgets
- Distribute workforce resources among jobs as needs demand in conjunction
- Compile pricing for projects under, generally $50k and smaller
- Oversee a team of Service Techs
- Provide support to techs as needed
- Oversee billings and receivables
- Procurement for Service Dept. projects
- Implement a paperless work order system
Required Skills and Experience:
- 5 years’ experience in electrical construction management or service department management (any trade, not electrical specific)
- Experience in a supervisory role
- Estimating project costs and timelines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite is required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
