Temporary Summer Technology Assistant
Up to Two (2) Positions
Schedule:
- 8 hours per day
Duration:
- Start date: As soon as available and/or as needed
- End date: Approximately September 1 (or as determined)
Position Summary
The Temporary Summer Technology Assistant supports the Technology Department with district-wide hardware and software setup, maintenance, and inventory. This position requires a high level of reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with on-site installation, configuration, and removal of hardware and software
- Route and organize cabling in Chromebook carts and other equipment
- Support district-wide technology inventory and maintain accurate records
- Assist with password setup and device preparation
- Load, transport, and unload materials and supplies, including operating a district service vehicle as needed
- Collaborate with technology staff on various projects and assignments
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
- Strong self-motivation and ability to work independently
- High attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Valid Washington State driver’s license required
