Job Vacancy: Technology Assistant
Terms of Employment: 10 months, full time, with benefits

Salary: Bi-Monthly
Supervisor: Chief Information Officer
Nature of Work: The Technology Assistant supports the district’s technology operations by providing hands-on technical assistance across multiple school sites. This position focuses on completing technology work orders, transporting and processing devices for repair and distribution, managing inventory, and assisting with district-wide technology initiatives. The Technology Assistant works independently and collaboratively as part of the technology team to ensure reliable, efficient technology services for staff and students.
Training and Experience:
- This role does not require formal technical training but does require strong attention to detail, initiative, reliability, and a willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with Google Workspace applications
- Basic experience with Windows computers/laptops, Chromebooks, and/or iPads
- Experience with K-12 school technology environments
- Experience with inventory management or asset tracking
- Basic troubleshooting experience (formal training not required)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and carry computer equipment
- Ability to operate a forklift after receiving instruction and support to become certified
Requirements:
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must have a Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Must pass a criminal background check.
- Must have a smartphone for use during work hours (monthly reimbursement paid)
