What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Armorer position at PEOPLE TECHNOLOGY AND PROCESSES LLC?
Title: Assistant Armorer
Clearance Type: Secret
Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Have thorough knowledge of the principles of operation, disassembly/reassembly procedures and troubleshooting of NSW and SOCOM specific weapons, Visual Augmentation Systems (VAS) and weapon accessories from here to be referred to as Combat Weapons Systems (CWS).
- Assist with conducting assessments and required repairs to all CWS to include depot-level repairs to applicable systems.
- Assists in CWS inventory, storage, receipt, issue, and movements to meet all security and safety regulations.
- Must meet Lautenberg Amendment (Gun Control Act of 1968) requirements.
- Must be prepared to complete the Naval Special Warfare
- Enhanced Organizational Level Armorer Course upon soonest available opening.
- Must be able to lift items up to 75 lbs.
- 3 years’ experience repairing small arms.
