Role Description This is a contract, remote Salesperson role with TechLogic Inc. The Salesperson will identify and qualify new business opportunities within commercial, education, SLED, and federal markets, focusing on IT security, network infrastructure, and low-voltage solutions. Daily responsibilities include prospecting via phone, email, and virtual meetings; managing and advancing leads through the sales pipeline; and scheduling and conducting product and solution presentations. The individual will collaborate with technical and project teams to develop proposals, estimates, and bids for design, installation, and integration projects. The role also involves maintaining accurate CRM records, preparing forecasts, supporting contract negotiations, and ensuring a smooth handoff from sales to delivery teams while providing ongoing account support.
Qualifications

Qualifications

- Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts such as CCTV, firewalls, structured cabling, wireless networking, and access control in clear business terms.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, virtual meeting platforms, and standard office software to manage pipelines, reporting, and client communications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with a consultative, solutions-focused sales approach.
- Proven ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and coordinate with cross-functional teams across multiple projects.
- Familiarity with public-sector procurement processes, RFP responses, and compliance-driven environments (e.g., FIPS, PIV/CAC) is a plus.
- Prior experience in account management, business development, or channel/partner sales is beneficial.
