Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT EHR Enterprise Business Analyst 3 to support Electronic Health Record (EHR) and Practice Management systems within a healthcare environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience supporting EHR applications, analyzing clinical workflows, gathering business requirements, troubleshooting technical issues, and working closely with clinical, technical, and development teams.
The candidate will also support HL7 integrations, cloud-based applications, Windows environments, ticketing systems, system updates, security, reporting, and ongoing optimization of EHR systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesSupport and maintain EHR and Practice Management systems in a healthcare or medical clinic environment.
Work with development teams to support and troubleshoot HL7 integrations and standards.
Collaborate with clinical staff, technical teams, administrators, developers, and other stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
Analyze clinical workflows and identify opportunities for system and process improvements.
Provide ongoing EHR application support, troubleshooting, configuration, updates, and performance optimization.
Assist with system upgrades, patches, backups, and production support.
Ensure data accuracy, system reliability, and compliance with HIPAA and IT security best practices.
Work with software vendors and support teams to resolve application issues.
Provide technical support to end users and assist with EHR training initiatives.
Generate and analyze reports to support clinical and administrative decision-making.
Troubleshoot Windows operating systems and software/cloud platform issues.
Create detailed JIRA tickets and coordinate issue resolution with developers and administrators.
Utilize REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger for testing, troubleshooting, and documentation.
Support cloud-based applications and platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Assist with networking and IT security-related activities as needed.
Participate in on-call or after-hours support when required.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
3 years of experience supporting EHR and Practice Management systems in a medical clinic, hospital, or similar healthcare environment.
Experience with EHR system implementation, configuration, troubleshooting, and support.
Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare IT environments.
3 years of experience with cloud platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
Strong experience with Windows operating systems; advanced troubleshooting skills preferred.
Experience with JIRA, Ivanti, or similar ticketing/issue-tracking systems.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with HL7 standards and healthcare integrations.
Knowledge of IT security best practices and HIPAA compliance.
Experience with REST APIs, Postman, and Swagger.
Experience with networking installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Experience supporting complex hospital or healthcare IT environments.
Experience working with software vendors and third-party support teams.
The ideal candidate will be a strong Healthcare IT / EHR Business Analyst with hands-on experience supporting EHR and Practice Management applications, working with clinical stakeholders, troubleshooting technical issues, and coordinating with development and infrastructure teams.
