Duties
- Develop comprehensive project plans utilizing company softwares.
- Lead project teams by providing direction, supervision, and motivation to meet project milestones and deliverables.
- Facilitate requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria accurately.
- Manage project budgets through cost control techniques and earned value management to maximize efficiency and value.
- Conduct risk assessments and root cause analysis to identify potential issues early and implement mitigation strategies proactively.
- Oversee program development and design activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.
- Utilize project management software such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or Primavera P6, Buildertrend, for scheduling, tracking progress, and reporting status updates.
- Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on contract negotiations, vendor management, and process improvements.
- Facilitate meetings effectively to ensure clear communication among stakeholders while managing scope changes through negotiation skills.
- Implement quality management practices to uphold standards across all phases of project execution while fostering a culture of continuous improvement via Lean methodologies.
Experience
- Proven experience in managing residential projects within a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with supervising experience in cross-functional teams across multiple projects or programs.
- Expertise in requirements analysis, requirements gathering, process management, risk management, and scope management.
- Familiarity with blueprints.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to facilitate meetings, present information clearly.
