Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced IT Support Technician to assist with a short-term deployment project. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in laptop deployment, configuration, and basic imaging, along with the ability to manage iPad setup and handle day-to-day ticket queue assignments. Strong attention to detail and familiarity with maintaining spreadsheets will be beneficial for tracking and reporting tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deploy and configure laptops for end users
- Perform basic imaging tasks and apply standard configurations
- Set up, configure, and enroll iPads as required
- Manage and resolve assigned tickets in the service desk queue
- Document work performed and update asset information
- Maintain and update spreadsheets for tracking devices, tasks, and project progress
- Collaborate with the IT team to ensure smooth and timely completion of deployment tasks
- Provide basic troubleshooting and support during the deployment period
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in laptop deployment and configuration
- Basic understanding of imaging tools and processes
- Experience setting up iOS devices (iPads)
- Ability to work with ticketing systems and manage assigned queues
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment
