Senior Oracle Developer

• Location: Lansing, MI
• Open to local candidates and non-local candidates willing to relocate at their own expense
• Work Model: Hybrid (non-negotiable)
• Onsite: Tuesdays & Wednesdays
• Remote: Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays
• Pay Rate: $60/hr /-
• Duration: 1-year contract (extension possible)
• Interview: 60-minute virtual interview (video required)
  
  

Must-Haves

• 8 years of Oracle PL/SQL development (packages, procedures, functions)
• 8 years using Oracle development tools (Toad and/or SQL Developer)
• 8 years designing and maintaining Oracle database objects (tables, views, indexes, triggers)
• 8 years of logical and physical data modeling, including normalization
• Strong experience with data migration and data conversion
• Proven experience integrating or supporting vendor-hosted or COTS systems
• Experience developing and integrating SOAP and/or REST web services
• Strong skills in data analysis, data quality, and metadata management
  
  

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Oracle database structures and PL/SQL code
• Lead and execute data migration and data conversion efforts for system replacements and integrations
• Support ETL processes and data services that enable secure, accurate data flow
• Develop and optimize database logic to support business and integration needs
• Collaborate with architects and DBAs on performance tuning and best practices
• Troubleshoot complex data issues, perform root-cause analysis, and implement fixes
• Participate in technical design, estimation, documentation, and ongoing maintenance activities
