Rate: $65-70/hr

Role Summary

The Infrastructure Solutions Architect provides senior?level architecture and engineering support across enterprise and hybrid cloud environments, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure to support mission?critical applications. This role leads architecture design, system integration, data modeling, and modernization initiatives across infrastructure and application platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and validate infrastructure and system architectures supporting enterprise and hybrid cloud platforms
• Coordinate system and data models to enable data sharing, reduce redundancy, and improve usability
• Develop and maintain system?level and solution architecture designs
• Define and enforce data standards, configuration management processes, and architecture governance
• Provide technical guidance to project managers and delivery teams for planning and execution
• Lead application environment consolidation, migration, and integration efforts
• Design and maintain enterprise data models, metadata repositories, and data flow diagrams
• Ensure data integrity, security, retention, and compliance through defined controls and policies
• Evaluate and recommend software fixes, integrations, and infrastructure changes
• Perform technical impact analysis (TIA) to ensure feasibility and cost effectiveness
• Review and apply enterprise architecture patterns and reference models
• Verify architectural integrity of application and infrastructure environments
• Produce and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical specifications
• Facilitate architecture and solution design sessions
• Support CI/CD, DevSecOps, and automation practices
• Collaborate with internal and external technical teams to ensure seamless integration
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 5 years administering and supporting RHEL environments
• 5 years working with Windows Server in enterprise environments
• 3 years hands?on experience with SQL, including querying and basic database support
• Experience designing native and hybrid cloud architectures across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• 5 years creating and maintaining system and technical documentation
• 3 years of network administration, including basic troubleshooting and support
• Experience architecting and supporting container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes / OpenShift)
• Experience creating architecture artifacts using Visio, LucidChart, or Draw.io
• Exposure to application architecture and application servers (WebLogic, WebSphere, JBoss)
• Experience designing scalable and redundant database architectures (Oracle / SQL Server)
• Hands?on experience securing networks, web applications, and databases
• Working knowledge of at least one scripting or programming language (Python, PowerShell, Bash, Java, or C#)
• Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps tools (Ansible, Jenkins, SonarQube, Artifactory, Veracode)
• Familiarity with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience administering web server environments (IIS, Apache, WAF)
• Experience with Cloudflare or similar platforms
