Role Summary
Seeking a Business Analyst / Consultant III to support Medicaid / MMIS healthcare systems, with focus on adult long-term care (LTC) provider enrollment, system project oversight, data analysis, and policy support in a regulated environment.
Required Experience
- 3–5 years as a Business Analyst supporting Medicaid, MMIS, or healthcare systems
- Experience in one or more areas:
- Provider Management
- Eligibility & Enrollment
- Claims & Encounters
- Benefit Plans
- Strong experience with:
- System Project Management
- Data Analysis & Reporting
- Cross-functional Coordination
- Provide operational administration for LTC provider enrollment systems
- Lead SDLC activities: requirements gathering, design review, UAT, and production verification
- Identify and resolve system defects, data inconsistencies, and operational issues
- Execute ad-hoc and scheduled data analysis using SAS, OnBase, and EDW/DAR
- Analyze state and federal regulations, Medicaid policy, and administrative codes
- Monitor data trends and utilization patterns and deliver actionable insights
- Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and external partners
- Prepare and present reports, dashboards, charts, and leadership summaries
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid MMIS systems (interChange, OnBase, EDW/DAR, CARES)
- Experience with business requirements development and SDLC
- Advanced skills in Excel, SAS, Tableau, or similar analytics tools
- Knowledge of HIPAA, healthcare data standards, and compliance
- Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently in a matrixed environment
- CBAP certification
- Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills
