- Onsite role – no remote option
- Public Safety assignment with additional background checks
- Start and continued employment contingent upon successful clearance
- 5 years experience in hybrid cloud infrastructure
- Strong hands?on experience with AWS
- Experience with AWS IAM, RBAC, and security guardrails
- Ansible experience is a plus
- Strong FinOps knowledge (cost estimation, optimization, fast delivery)
- Experience supporting enterprise scale environments
- Ability to support and guide senior level technical resources
Hybrid Cloud Architecture & Engineering
- Design, maintain, and optimize hybrid platforms integrating onprem infrastructure with AWS
- Administer AWS services including EC2, VPC, IAM, S3
- Design hybrid identity and application patterns across cloud and onprem
- Lead legacy system migrations to AWS, including readiness assessments and modernization roadmaps
- Create and maintain architecture documentation and AWS diagrams
- Provide senior level support for escalations from Service Desk, Applications, Networking, and Automation teams
- Troubleshoot AWS identity, network, and compute issues
- Document root cause analysis, mitigation strategies, and troubleshooting workflows
- Resolve hybrid dependency failures (directory sync, routing conflicts, IAM misconfigurations)
- Ensure resilience and high availability across cloud and onprem platforms
- Eliminate single points of failure
- Implement backup, recovery, and DR aligned with RTO/RPO
- Build and maintain performance dashboards (compute, storage, network)
- Perform performance tuning and capacity planning
- Identify and implement cost optimization strategies (rightsizing, storage tiers, lifecycle automation)
- Maintain IaC, architecture standards, and operational documentation in version control
- Define IaC patterns and collaborate on Terraform modules
- Document automated provisioning workflows and configuration standards
- Support CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure across test, staging, and production
- Ensure deployments are automated, auditable, and consistent
- Partner with engineering and application teams to optimize workloads
- Enforce platform security controls including encryption, MFA, IAM boundaries, network segmentation
- Produce audit evidence (configs, logs, screenshots)
- Document platform hardening standards
- Create operational guides, onboarding materials, and how to documentation
- Develop architecture reference materials and annotated diagrams
- Prepare executive level summaries of platform initiatives and modernization efforts
