This is a full-time, on-site role for a Level 2 Technician based in Rock Hill, SC. The Level 2 Technician will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues, managing user support requests, installing and configuring IT systems, troubleshooting hardware and software problems, and maintaining network systems. The role also requires collaborating with clients to ensure effective IT solutions, supporting cybersecurity practices, and contributing to IT project implementations.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining hardware and software systems, including user workstations and network devices.
- Experience with networking services, including configuration of firewalls, servers, and switches.
- Knowledge of backup and recovery, business continuity solutions, and cloud services management.
- Understanding and practical experience with cybersecurity tools and protocols to ensure IT security.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and collaborate effectively in team settings.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network , Security , or similar are a plus.
