Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House Team Members to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the face of our establishment, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Your primary duties will include food preparation, cashiering, and assisting with various front-of-house operations in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their dining experience.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems.
- Prepare food items in accordance with food safety standards and restaurant guidelines.
- Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the front-of-house area, including bussing tables and maintaining a tidy environment.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food delivery and quality service.
- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels of food supplies and reporting shortages as needed.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations related to food handling and preparation.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage with guests effectively.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and culinary practices is a plus.
- Experience using POS systems is advantageous.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices is essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
