About Beach Bird
Beach Bird is a fast-growing quick service restaurant bringing fresh food revolving around the chicken tender to Long Island. With our first location already thriving in Oyster Bay, NY, we're excited to open our newest spot in Long Beach, NY — and we want the right people to help us build something great. We're a team that works hard, takes pride in our food, and actually has fun doing it.
The Role
We're looking for friendly, energetic team members to welcome guests, take orders accurately, and keep the front of house running smoothly. If you love people and a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do
- Greet customers warmly and take orders at the counter or register
- Process payments accurately using our POS system
- Communicate orders clearly to kitchen staff
- Keep the front of house clean, stocked, and guest-ready
- Handle guest questions, feedback, and special requests with a smile
- Assist with packaging and handing off orders quickly and accurately
What We're Looking For
- Prior customer service or food service experience preferred
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
- Basic math and cash-handling ability
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player
