Position Summary
The Human Resources Generalist supports the full scope of HR operations with a strong emphasis on training, employee development, and onboarding. This role plays a key part in enhancing employee skills, ensuring consistent HR processes, and contributing to a positive and high-performing workplace culture. The ideal candidate is organized, people-focused, and experienced in designing and delivering training content.
This is a full-time, salaried, IN OFFICE position, located in Phoenix, Arizona. You are required to be in office Monday - Friday 8:30AM - 5:30PM local time.
Key Responsibilities
Training & Development
- Responsible for company-wide training programs, including onboarding, systems training, compliance modules.
- Partner with department leaders to identify skills gaps and recommend training solutions.
- Maintain and update all training materials, SOPs, and job aids to ensure accuracy and relevance.
- Track and analyze training participation, feedback, and effectiveness to drive continuous improvement.
- Assist in the creation and administration of Learning Management System (LMS) content.
HR Generalist Support
- Assist with new hire onboarding and orientation
- Serve as the PHX onsite HR point of contact for employees, providing support on policies, benefits, time off, and HR systems.
- Post jobs, screen resumes, and conduct initial phone interviews to identify qualified candidates.
- Assist with compliance tasks such as I-9 audits, policy acknowledgment tracking, and state/federal reporting.
- Support the coordination of employee events, recognition programs, and culture initiatives.
Office Manager Responsibilities (as part of HR Generalist Support)
- Oversee day-to-day office operations, ensuring a clean, organized, and professional work environment.
- Manage office supplies, inventory, equipment, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, and service requests with building management or external contractors.
- Support meeting and event logistics, including room setups, catering, and visitor management.
- Assist with mail, shipping, and general office communications.
- Monitor and enforce office access procedures and security protocols.
Qualifications
- 24 years of HR experience or a combination of HR and training roles.
- Experience facilitating live and virtual training sessions.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in HRIS, MS Office Suite, and/or LMS platforms.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience organizing training materials (PowerPoints, guides, videos, SOPs).
- HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) a plus.
- Experience in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
Compensation
