What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Manager position at TEAM INDUSTRIES?
Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages all personnel within the Quality Department, including such functions as staffing, evaluating, transfer, promotions, and discipline as per company policy and applicable laws.
Purpose: Overall responsibility for all functions related to the quality of the product produced and services provided. Company representative to customers and suppliers in regards to quality.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
· Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.
· Develops, implements and oversees quality plans and strategies for the plant
· Company representative to customers and suppliers in regards to quality
· Assists in developing and planning budgets related to quality
· Monitors the quality of manufactured products and assume responsibility for product quality and reliability
· Manages all personnel within the Quality Department, including such functions as staffing, evaluating, transfer, promotions, and discipline as per company policy
· Responsible for coordinating training within the Quality Department
· Works with all departments to support production activities
· Determines necessary workforce needed to accomplish quality requirements
· Provide ongoing analysis of the QMS utilizing C/A, P/A, Customer Satisfaction, PPM measurements, etc.
· Demonstrate leadership commitment to the TEAM Industries Quality Management system and coach subordinates on their impact on TEAM QMS objectives
· Promote a positive atmosphere. Actively support activities that promote the welfare and morale of TEAM employees
· Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned
