Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Purpose: Tends baking oven that hardens and strengthens materials for use in manufacturing steel components by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
· Ensure a safe work environment for self and others. Follows all safety rules and regulations. Demonstrate commitment to safety program.
· Loads material on trays per load diagrams, or carts that pushes them into oven.
· Follow and maintain correct recipe for the heat treatment of various parts.
· Closes oven door and allows material to bake for specified time.
· Opens oven door and removes material.
· Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Education & Experience:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
· Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

· As part of this job the employee may be asked to handle hazardous material. Contact with hazardous material may include, but not limited to handling, moving, directing others or the actual clean up. As part of this responsibility the employee will have had the required training in the handling of hazardous material.
· Quality of work and cleanliness of workstation must conform to TEAM Industries - Andrews standards. Employee must be able to function within a teamwork-oriented environment and interact favorably with fellow employees. The normal workday (eight and one half hours) will include one half hour for lunch and two ten minutes breaks.
