Position Summary
We are looking for a highly driven and humble INSIDE salesman to manage our residential electrical sales. This position requires a great deal of tenacity, discipline and focus in order to manage inbound purchased leads and convert them into a jobs with a focus on high close rates. You will be partnering with a residential field manager to ensure that jobs are priced to ensure modest profitability. However, your focus will be primarily on volume and maintaining minimal margins. This position allows for eye watering professional growth for the right dynamic individual who is ready to take their career to the next level.
Key Responsibilities
-Manage and follow up on residential electrical leads to convert them into booked jobs.
- Ensure each job meets targeted department margins.
- Prepare and send estimates, and review jobs in a timely manner.
- Verify that scope, materials, and pricing align with company standards.
- Communicate clearly with customers, providing education, options, and solutions.
- Consistently ensure jobs are efficiently assigned to prevent unnecessary drive time.
- Identify areas for improvement in sales, customer follow-up, and scheduling efficiency.
- Track department metrics, such as close rate, margin percentage, and revenue goals.
- Provide feedback and training to ensure consistency across the electrical team.
