SERVICE LUBE TECHNICIAN (7269)

Position Summary:

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing routine maintenance and basic vehicle services on customer vehicles in a fast-paced dealership environment. This role plays a key part in ensuring vehicle safety, reliability, and customer satisfaction through high-quality preventative maintenance services.

Stellantis (Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, Jeep) experience is preferred but not required. This is an excellent entry-level or early-career opportunity for individuals looking to grow within a dealership service department.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance services including oil changes, filter replacements, and fluid checks
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report additional service needs
• Rotate tires and inspect tire condition and wear
• Check and top off vehicle fluids as needed
• Perform multi-point inspections following dealership and manufacturer guidelines
• Maintain accurate documentation of services performed
• Communicate findings to service advisors or technicians as needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures
• Assist technicians and service team members as needed

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Previous automotive or quick lube experience preferred but not required
• Stellantis (Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, Jeep) experience strongly preferred

Skills & Abilities:

• Basic understanding of automotive systems and maintenance procedures
• Ability to learn and follow manufacturer service standards
• Strong attention to detail and safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
