Responsibilities:
Verify incoming and outgoing shipments against manifests, packing slips, and orders to ensure accuracy. Prepare shipping documents, track shipments, and record data such as weight, damages, and discrepancies. Coordinate with carriers to schedule deliveries and determine shipping methods. Work closely with Sales, Customer Service, and Production to resolve issues and support daily operations. Manage pick tickets, prioritize workloads, assist with inventory questions, and support cycle counting. Maintain shipping supplies and assist on the production floor as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Minimum 2 years of experience in shipping, receiving, or logistics within a manufacturing environment. Experience with ERP or inventory systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook. Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and ability to multitask. Experience in regulated industries and familiarity with ISO or GMP standards is preferred.
Physical requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Salary and Benefits
