What are the responsibilities and job description for the Junior Accountant position at Team 360 Staffing?
Team 360 Staffing is seeking a Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations, including maintaining accounts payable and accounts receivable ledgers, monitoring and reconciling balance sheet accounts, assisting with month-end close activities, and tracking/reconciling deductions and billbacks.

Salary range: $33-36/hr.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 8 am-5 pm, hardly any overtime is needed
Essential duties:
- Accounts Receivable / Accounts Payable (85%): Enters and validates invoices, processes expense reports, performs weekly check runs, manages AR/AP inbox, prepares export documents, assists with 1099s, maintains records, runs aging reports, and sets up new customers. Provides backup for invoicing, collections, credit card/UPS/FedEx postings, mail handling, email routing, and vendor/customer follow-ups.
- General Ledger (10%): Posts COGS, prepares accruals, and supports month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close and audits.
- Accounting/Finance Department Support (5%): Helps gather documentation, perform reconciliations, improve processes, and maintain accounting folders.
Job Requirements:
- 1 year of accounting and/or bookkeeping experience required.
- Intermediate Microsoft Office XP (specifically in Excel).
- Experience working with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Any experience with Dynamics Business Central would be helpful.
- Team-oriented and self-motivated with excellent organization skills, excellent organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced office environment.
Physical:
Ability to work at a computer for extended periods of time. Ability to lift to 32 lbs on occasion. Ability to communicate on the telephone for extended periods of time.
Other:
The employee generally works in an office environment and is rarely exposed to extreme cold (non-weather) conditions in a freezer. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderately loud.
