You will be working for an Automation Machinery Manufacturing company that specializes in industrial repair services, including industrial electronics, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electric motors, and replacement parts.
Responsibilities:
Wind and rewind electric motors according to technical specifications and schematics, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
Diagnose electrical issues within motors using specialized testing equipment and interpret wiring diagrams or schematics.
Repair and refurbish electric motors, including disassembly, cleaning, component replacement, and reassembly.
Use hand tools, power tools, soldering equipment, welding gear, and other mechanical tools to perform repairs and modifications.
Conduct thorough inspections of motors for wear, damage, or electrical faults; document findings and repair actions.
Collaborate with service technicians and other team members to troubleshoot complex electrical or mechanical problems.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols during all repair activities.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in motor winding or motor repair within a dealership or industrial setting.
Strong electrical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and wiring diagrams accurately.
Hands-on experience with diesel engine repair, automotive repair, or heavy equipment maintenance is highly desirable.
Familiarity with generator repair, electrical systems, mechanical components, and equipment repair techniques.
Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, soldering irons, welding equipment, and other mechanical tools safely and effectively.
Knowledge of Caterpillar machinery or similar heavy-duty equipment is a plus.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
Ability to lift heavy components safely during installation or repairs; physical strength is essential.
Experience in sales or providing technical guidance to clients is advantageous but not required.
