Human Resources Generalist

Location: Conroe, TX

Teal Energi is partnering with a growing organization to identify an experienced HR Generalist who can serve as a hands-on HR resource while helping the company scale its workforce and strengthen its people processes.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working directly with employees, managers, and leadership and will bring a proactive, solutions-oriented approach to recruiting, employee relations, onboarding, development, and day-to-day HR operations.

What You'll Do:

• Manage recruiting activities across both hourly and professional positions, from sourcing through offer and hire.
• Partner closely with hiring leaders to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruiting strategies.
• Build relationships and talent pipelines for key operational and field-based positions.
• Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and managers, providing guidance on policies, workplace concerns, and employee relations matters.
• Help identify trends affecting employee retention and engagement and partner with leadership on practical solutions.
• Lead and continuously improve new-hire onboarding and orientation programs.
• Coordinate and facilitate employee training, development initiatives, and other learning opportunities.
• Assist with employee relations matters, investigations, and fact-finding as needed.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation while supporting HRIS and reporting needs.
• Assist with benefits, payroll-related processes, and other general HR functions.
• Help ensure HR practices remain aligned with applicable employment regulations and company policies.
• Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and the overall employee experience.
• Work collaboratively with leadership and cross-functional teams to support the company's continued growth.

What We're Looking For

• 3 years of progressive HR Generalist experience.
• Strong background across recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and employee development.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and handling sensitive employee matters with discretion.
• Strong understanding of HR practices, employment regulations, and compliance.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with employees at all levels.
• Strong presentation, facilitation, and public-speaking abilities.
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues and recommend solutions.
• Comfortable working independently in a dynamic, rapidly changing environment.
• Experience supporting an operational, industrial, or field-based workforce is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR information systems.
