Little Orabs Preschool is seeking a passionate, student-centered educator to join our team! We are proud to offer a high-quality early childhood program that focuses on nurturing the whole child in a safe, engaging, and developmentally appropriate environment.
Position Overview
The Little Orabs Preschool Teacher will lead one of our preschool classrooms, serving students in both AM and PM sessions. This position plays a vital role in creating a strong foundation for our youngest learners through intentional instruction, relationship-building, and play-based learning experiences.

Schedule:
- AM Session: 8:15–11:15
- PM Session: 12:00–3:00
- Program Structure: Two sections of preschool (morning and afternoon)
Qualifications
- Valid Iowa teaching license with PK-3 Teacher, Regular Education/Special Education
- Candidates willing to obtain this endorsement will also be considered
- Strong understanding of early childhood development and best practices
- Ability to create a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment
- Commitment to collaboration with families, colleagues, and support staff
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver developmentally appropriate instruction aligned to the GOLD Curriculum
- Support the academic, social, and emotional growth of all students
- Foster a nurturing classroom environment where all students feel valued and supported
- Communicate effectively with families and caregivers
