What You’ll Do
- Full ownership of accounting operations: AP, AR, GL, payroll, and financial reporting
- Manage monthend and yearend close, including consolidations and audit preparation
- Oversee cost accounting for raw materials, trims, labor, overhead, and finished goods
- Budgeting, forecasting, cashflow management, and variance analysis
- Financial modeling to support pricing, production planning, and margin optimization
- Compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and multistate regulatory requirements
- Crossfunctional partnership with production, sourcing, logistics, and operations
- Support external audits
- Continuous improvement of financial processes, systems, and reporting
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 10 years of experience in apparel or manufacturing accounting
- Strong understanding of cost accounting, inventory management, and production workflows
- Experience with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks Enterprise, BlueCherry, etc.)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data organization)
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Proven leadership experience and ability to manage a small accounting team
- Excellent communication skills and comfort working with crossfunctional partners
- Must be able to work in-office full-time
- Experience with import/export costing and landed cost
- Multientity or multistate experience
- Experience supporting external audits
- Experience in factoring (invoice factoring, purchase order financing, etc.)
