What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plotter/Cutter Operator C position at TCOM, L.P.?
Operate production equipment (Plotter/Cutter) and hand tools to cut and trim a variety of manufactured items. Tasks will be performed under the direct guidance of higher classified Plotter/Cutter Operators.
Working Procedure:
- Be self-motivated and able to work well with others as a team
- Be alert to your surroundings to ensure the safety of yourself, other personnel and the product
- Cut or trim fabric
- Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and report any issues
- Identify & record defects
- Maintain daily record keeping activities and real time data entry
- Monitor the quantity of cut parts
- Perform repetitive tasks in assembly setting
- Read work order and instructions
- Read production drawings
- Develop skills in plotter/cutter software
Performing General Physical Activities — Performing physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials.
- Load, unload, or stack materials, or products
- Move or fit heavy objects
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience Requirement: Minimum 2 years of aerostat fabrication experience and demonstrated competency as a Team Assembler C. Exceptional performance and equivalent related work experience may be substituted for aerostat fabrication experience. Substituted qualifications must meet HR and management standards of equivalency.
