Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with potential clients
- Develop and implement strategies to expand the company’s offerings and client base
- Prepare and deliver tailored presentations and proposals to prospective clients
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers
- Serve as the primary contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction throughout the sales cycle
- Manage the sales pipeline, tracking all stages from lead generation to contract closure
- Set and achieve quarterly and annual sales targets in alignment with company objectives
- Collaborate with internal teams, including product development, project management, production and more
- Lead contract negotiations to secure favorable terms for the company while meeting client expectations
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of the company’s ODM products and capabilities
- Provide feedback to product development teams to refine offerings based on market demand and client feedback
- Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends for senior management
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in the company's CRM
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biotechnology, Food Science, Sales or other related field
- 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management, preferably in a B2B or manufacturing/ODM environment.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Strong skills in prospecting, lead generation, and pipeline management.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication abilities (written and verbal).
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client and partner relationships.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office/Google Suite; experience with reporting and forecasting tools.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (product development, production, project management, etc.).
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and customer service orientation.
- Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
