Shift Availability

- 2nd Shift: Monday – Friday | 3:30 PM – 12:00 AM
Position Overview
Our client is growing their Precision Machining Team and is seeking skilled CNC Machinists with experience in both CNC and manual machining environments. This role involves setting up and operating high-performance turning and milling centers in a modern, climate-controlled manufacturing facility located in Newark, Delaware.
The ideal candidate will have strong experience with CNC setup, blueprint reading, precision measurement tools, and G-Code troubleshooting to produce complex, high-tolerance components for precision manufacturing applications.
Key ResponsibilitiesCNC Setup & Operation
- Independently set up and operate CNC lathes and/or CNC milling machines.
- Perform machine adjustments, tool changes, and offset modifications as needed.
- Ensure machines are operating efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Programming & Troubleshooting
- Utilize G-Code to troubleshoot programs and optimize machining processes.
- Make necessary edits and adjustments to improve production efficiency and accuracy.
Blueprint Reading
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work instructions.
- Manufacture parts according to exact customer and engineering specifications.
Precision Inspection
- Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other inspection tools.
- Verify tight-tolerance dimensions and ensure all finished parts meet quality standards.
Production & Efficiency
- Maintain production schedules and minimize downtime.
- Work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality output.
Safety & Compliance
- Follow all company safety policies and manufacturing procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in CNC machining and manual machining environments.
- Strong experience with CNC turning and/or milling operations.
- Proficient in G-Code programming and troubleshooting.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Experience using precision inspection and measuring equipment.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment physical, lift assessment, and drug screening.
