Senior Finance Manager
The Senior Finance Manager oversees all accounting operations and financial reporting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency. This role partners closely with Billing, Accounting, and Collections teams and supports firm leadership on financial strategy and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee general accounting functions, including GL, financial reporting, month- and year-end close, AP/AR, trust accounting, payroll coordination, and cash management
- Manage law firm partnership accounting, including IOLTA/trust accounts, WIP monitoring, and e-billing processes
- Prepare and review financial statements and provide analysis to leadership
- Oversee partner distributions, fee allocations, and financial planning/budgeting efforts
- Coordinate audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements with external advisors
- Partner with Billing and Collections to improve realization, collections, and reporting processes
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA preferred
- 5 years of accounting experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
- Strong knowledge of partnership accounting, trust accounting, and legal billing processes
- Experience with financial reporting, GL management, and accounting systems
Salary : $195,000 - $235,000
