What are the responsibilities and job description for the Project Accountant position at TBG | The Bachrach Group?
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare monthly financial reports
- Maintain General Ledger(s) and interest schedules and loans for multiple companies.
- Prepare draw requests
- Monitor and Maintain the General ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accurate and timely entries.
- Monitor and eliminate intercompany transactions
- Execute month end close procedures, including journal entries, accruals, and balance sheet account reconciliations
- Record home closings
- Conduct variance analysis of financial statements
- Reconcile bank accounts
- Strong Time management and organizational skills, ability to prioritize.
- Provide excellent customer service to investors, service providers, and customers of the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 3 years of related Senior Accountant work experience
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and construction specific accounting principles (job costing, WIP, revenue recognition).
- Excellent attention to detail with high degree of accuracy.
Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
