Position Overview
The Applications & Integration Engineer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integrations between enterprise systems across Taylor Shellfish Farms. This role plays a key part in connecting ERP (Sage Intacct), operational systems, logistics platforms, reporting tools (Power BI), and third-party applications into a cohesive, scalable architecture.
This position will work closely with Finance, Operations, Sales, Logistics, HR, and external technology partners to ensure accurate data flow, system reliability, and reporting integrity.
This is both a hands-on development role and a systems design role.
Key Responsibilities
Enterprise System Integration
- Design and maintain integrations between Sage Intacct and operational systems
- Develop API-based integrations with third-party platforms (logistics, freight, inventory, etc.)
- Build and maintain data pipelines for reporting and analytics
- Ensure reliable, accurate, and secure data exchange across systems
- Troubleshoot integration errors and reconcile data discrepancies
- Support Sage Intacct configuration, automation, and data mapping
- Assist with ERP enhancements and module rollouts
- Develop automation workflows to reduce manual entry
- Build and maintain SQL queries and data models
- Support Power BI dataset development and optimization
- Assist in designing long-term data warehouse strategy
- Develop workflows using Microsoft Power Platform or similar tools
- Automate repetitive finance and operational processes
- Work cross-functionally to understand business process needs
- Recommend system improvements and architectural upgrades
- Document system integrations and technical processes
- Assist leadership in evaluating new software platforms
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3 years experience in application integration or systems development
- Strong experience with APIs (REST, JSON, XML)
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases
- Experience working with ERP systems (Sage Intacct, preferred)
- Experience building integrations between finance and operational systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Experience with Microsoft Power BI and data modeling
- Experience with Power Automate / Power Platform

Physical Demands

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
