POSITION DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Class A CDL Driver for local pickups and deliveries.
Main focus of the Semi-Truck Driver will be the transportation of product. The job would entail doing local pickups and deliveries of the product.
This position also requires a Class A CDL license. All truck drivers at Taylor Shellfish are subject to random drug and alcohol testing. Must be willing to work with flexible scheduling because everything revolves around the tide.
Qualifications:
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Class A certification required

Subject to random substance abuse testing

Forklift certification required ( Company Will Certify)

Pallet jack operation
-
Ability to work independently at times with little direction

Strong and sound decision making skills

Regular, reliable, predictable attendance

Must be 21 years of age
PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to sit, stand and/or walk on uneven ground

The employee may be required to stoop, bend, kneel, twist, and squat

The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus

Must be able to speak and hear well enough to communicate with co-workers, supervisors and managers

Must be able to use hands for repetitive simple grasping, pushing, pulling and fine manipulation

Must be able to drive to multiple locations
