Property Administrator – Commercial Real Estate
Location: Charlotte, NC
We are partnering with a well-established, owner-operated commercial real estate firm to hire a Property Administrator to support day-to-day operations across a portfolio of commercial assets in the Charlotte market. Key Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Property Management team across a commercial portfolio
- Serve as a point of contact for tenants, handling inquiries and ensuring timely follow-up
- Assist with lease administration, including abstracting leases and tracking key dates
- Process invoices, code expenses, and support accounts payable/receivable functions
- Maintain accurate property and tenant records in management systems
- Coordinate vendor services, contracts, and work orders
- Assist in preparing reports, budgets, and financial documentation
- Support tenant onboarding, move-ins/move-outs, and general office operations
- Ensure compliance with company policies and property procedures
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of administrative experience, preferably within commercial real estate or property management
- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience with property management software (e.g., Yardi, MRI, or similar) is a plus
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- Positive, team-oriented attitude with a proactive approach
