About the Role
We’re a fast-paced, creative advertising agency seeking an organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Project Management Intern to support the planning and execution of integrated campaigns across digital, social, video, print, and creative departments. This is full-time, paid position for 6 months; candidates can expect to work on real client projects and gain a firm understanding of project management foundations.
This internship is ideal for someone eager to learn how an agency operates—how projects move from project plan and brief to concepting to final delivery—and who thrives in a collaborative, high-energy environment. The Project Management Intern will work closely with project management, account services, and creative teams to keep projects running smoothly, on schedule, and aligned with client goals. Key responsibilities include:
Project Coordination
- Assist in managing day-to-day project workflows across multiple active campaigns for internal initiatives and client work.
- Support the development and maintenance of project timelines, schedules, and status reports.
- Track projects against timelines and due dates to ensure projects stay on-track.
- Maintain organized documentation, assets, approvals, and version histories.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Participate in internal kickoffs, creative reviews, and client meetings by taking and distributing notes for the team.
- Collaborate with account management and creative teams on project needs and expectations.
- Communicate project updates, changes, and next steps clearly and proactively.
Quality & Process Support
- Review project deliverables for accuracy and alignment with objectives.
- Flag risks, bottlenecks, or capacity issues and support the development of solutions.
- Learn and work within ClickUp, our project management system, and other Agency tools.
Qualifications
- Ability to work locally in our office in Charlotte, NC.
- Current student or recent college graduate in Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or related fields.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with project management or collaboration tools (Asana, Trello, Monday.com, Google Workspace) is a plus.
- Experience in Microsoft Office tools is a requirement.
- Passion for advertising, creativity, and effective teamwork.
