Tate Computer Systems, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled IT Operations Manager to lead and elevate the performance of our Helpdesk, Network Operations Center (NOC), Security Operations Center (SOC), and Project Management teams. This hands-on leadership role is ideal for a professional who is technically strong, process-driven, and passionate about delivering exceptional service to clients.

Key Responsibilities
Operations Leadership
- Oversee daily IT operations to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Lead and mentor teams across Helpdesk, Desktop Support, NOC/SOC, and Project Management.
- Manage both in-house and outsourced support resources.
- Develop, enhance, and enforce policies, procedures, and KPIs that improve efficiency and performance.
- Monitor operational metrics to ensure service targets are consistently met.
- Maintain current technical knowledge and stay informed on emerging technologies.
- Provide escalation support for complex issues and guide team members toward resolution.
Project Management
- Plan, manage, and deliver IT projects—on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Partner with leadership to define project objectives, requirements, and timelines.
- Communicate proactively with clients, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide clear and timely status updates to leadership and customers.
Network & Security Oversight
- Oversee the health, performance, and security of network infrastructure including firewalls, routers, switches, and VPNs.
- Ensure network reliability through proactive monitoring and preventive maintenance.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity partners to enforce security protocols and best practices.
- Respond promptly to network incidents and lead effective incident resolution.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field.
- 7 years of hands-on technical experience.
- Proven experience as an Operations Manager, IT Manager, Project Manager, or similar leadership role.
- 5–8 years leading IT teams with diverse technical skillsets.
- Preferred experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or process improvement methodologies.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Solid understanding of operational management and project management practices.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development abilities.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Trello, Asana).
