Transportation Supervisor
will oversee the daily operations of a facility's transportation department, ensuring efficient and compliant delivery of goods and/or services. They manage a team of drivers and dispatchers, review scheduled routes, maintain vehicles, and ensure compliance with regulations like DOT.

Requirements
Transportation Supervisor Job Duties:
- Supervise and direct daily workload of transportation department, which is comprised of dispatchers and drivers
- Ensure proper staffing based on the volume of pickups that are scheduled
- Address customer inquiries and complaints related to deliveries. Escalate serious complaints and/or incidents to the Operations Manager
- Monitor and ensure completion of department specific safety tasks according to the TAS safety program
- Prioritize safety by ensuring drivers adhere to safety protocols, conduct safety training/meetings and implement safety procedures per TAS' safety program
- Ensure adherence to transportation laws and regulations, including DOT and other relevant agencies
- Monitor vehicle condition, oversee the repair schedules, and ensure vehicles are in proper working order

- Compliance and Risk Management: Ability to ensure work is done within industry regulations while upholding TAS' safety requirements, ensuring all employees adhere to rules and regulations

Education And Experience
- Class A CDL preferred
- Ability to read, write and do mathematics
- Logistics background preferred but similar experience will be considered
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear
- This position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling and climbing at times
- The employee must frequently lift or move items up to 60 pounds
- Must be able to frequently climb stairs and ladders
- May occasionally deal with heights
- Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Consists of both office setting and physical jobsite

Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
